The X7 MAX is designed to operate below 1,640 ft (around 500 m). The flight controller enforces the ceiling rather than relying on the pilot to respect it. Check your national aviation authority for the legal ceiling that applies in your market, which may be lower.
Can I swap the battery in the field?
Yes. The X7 MAX uses a hot-swap lithium battery base and a full pack replacement takes about two minutes, carried out by one person without tools. Teams normally cycle two or three packs through a working day instead of waiting on a charger.
How much range does the X7 MAX actually deliver with a full load?
The datasheet figure is 37 mi over 50 minutes of cruise time. Plan your mission against the full-load number, not the ideal-condition figure, and hold a return reserve. We will send the full-load endurance figures with your quotation pack so you can build a realistic flight plan.
Can the X7 MAX carry inspection sensors such as LiDAR?
Yes. The X7 MAX keeps the 264.6 lbs payload ceiling of the X7 PLUS, so there is room for LiDAR, thermal cameras and a gimballed sensor pod alongside the pilot. Mounting and power integration are confirmed during the configuration discussion before the order.
Can the airframe be transported in a van?
